Maximum size per piece of baggage

56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm

• Handle, pocket compartments and wheels included in the dimensions.
• Baggage that exceeds these measurements must be checked-in
• These pieces should fit in the size-check device located at the airports and you must be able to lift them into the overhead locker by yourself.

If you travel without carry-on baggage, you can board the aircraft sooner.

Because of limited capacity in the aircraft cabin, exceptionally on busy flights some carry-on baggage may be removed and stored in the hold at no extra cost.

If your carry-on baggage is larger than standard it will be placed in the hold and you may have to pay an additional charge.

Location of hand baggage on board

Remember, you must place your handbag or accessory underneath the seat in front of you.

You will need to place your additional item of hand baggage in the overhead compartment.
If there is not enough room on board, this item will be removed and placed in the aircraft hold.

The amount of free checked luggage depends on the class of travel and also on the route. The maximum dimension for all checked luggage  is 158cm (total of height + length + width) and the maximum weight is 23kg. Bags that exceed 23kg (up to 32kg) will be subject to an overweight luggage fee of €60 per suitcase.

For short-haul flights the checked baggage allowance is the following:

• Express Economy (domestic flights): no free baggage allowance
• Express Economy (international flights): 1 free piece
• Economy: 1 free piece
• Business Class: 2 free pieces

For long-haul flights to/from the USA the allowance is the following:

• Reduced Economy (international flights): 1 free piece
• Full Economy & Business Class: 2 free pieces
• Business Plus: 3 free pieces

Above 23 kg. And up to a maximum of 32 kg. A surcharge of 60€ per piece will apply as excess weight.
